Fondo Editorial Unaula had its origin in the sixties of the last century, but it was not until 2010 that it materialized as a project with a mission to edit, publish and disseminate the production of teachers and researchers UNAULA, and national writers.

From the first half of 2011, the Fondo Editorial UNAULA began the delivery of titles to the national and overseas market, with some historical bailouts, and formal reorientation of its institutional journals supporting the dissemination of professional and intellectual faculty and hoping to build a bibliographic niche reaching social engagement and regional identity.
