The Editorial of the University of Azuay is a unit of the university responsible for the publication of books, journals, and other academic materials. The editorial has five editorial lines:

• Natura: Publishes texts related to natural sciences, such as biology, physics, chemistry, geology, astronomy, etc.
• Literae: Publishes literary texts, including poetry, narrative, essays, etc.
• Homo: Publishes texts related to social sciences, such as sociology, anthropology, psychology, history, etc.
• Artem: Publishes texts related to art, architecture, and design.
• Memorias: Publishes the proceedings of congresses and academic events at the University.
• Numerus: Publishes books on administration and exact sciences.
