The author proposes you to visit some points of Africa and Middle East in a slightly conventional way and invites you to enjoy a drink of grogue to the hot sound of a morna, to come to the consultation of the street dentist who attends his clients in Yemá el Fna's full square, to circulate along the streets of the men and the roofs of the women in a city of the desert, to contemplate the prints that Rome left in the North African littoral, to take part in the exciting breakfast of the lions of the Sabana, to share with bámbaras and soninkés the life of a malinés settlement, to verify how one lives in a troglodytic house… endowed with television, to sleep in full jungle, to be kept afloat in the waters of the Dead sea or to allow that the adrenaline should go off while you flee of the onslaught of the hippopotami. Anything less than getting bored sunbathing as a lizard in the swimming pool of a five star hotel.
