Fondo de Cultura Económica
The Fondo de Cultura Económica is an editorial group in Spanish, based in Mexico, with a presence throughout the Spanish-American world. It was founded in 1934 with the original purpose of publishing books on economics, it soon extended its editorial work to other social sciences, the humanities, literature, the dissemination of science and books for children and young people. It has published over 10,000 works, of which nearly 5,000 are still available, and has an electronic catalog of more than 1,300 titles.
